COTTON TWEED
Description
A heavyweight cotton tweed from Italy. The composition consists out of 66% cotton, 19% viscose and 15% polyamide. The tweed weave is a classic weave which originated in Scotland and Ireland as fabric to use for farmers clothing. The fabric is loosely woven, but by using two layers and intertwining these the fabric holds its structure and is still durable. This interesting fabric, using a combination between thick and thin threads, can be used to create your jackets, skirts and tailored garments.
