
INDIGO KASURI
Description
A medium weight Kasuri fabric, made out of 100% cotton, using on the warp a fine-count cotton and for the weft a slub yarn to create a softness and to keep the strength of the fabric. This design is unbalanced vertically and horizontally and gives a subtle color variation. The beauty of these traditional Japanese Kasuri fabric is the technique of the yarn dyes and the metric composition of these yarns combined into a woven fabric. These fabrics are originally for traditional Japanese kimonos, but you can perfectly use them for shirting, trousers, jackets or interior purposes. Please note: according to tradition this fabric is only 39cm wide.
